Hydroseeding is the process of combining bio-degradable mulch made from wood fibres, seed, fertilizer, water and a tackifier to form a slurry that can be sprayed precisely onto designated areas.  The result is a bonding of the mulch and soil that prevents the erosion of seed and provides a healthy start to the germination of the seed.  

• Hydroseeding is quick and efficient.  Hydroseeding is one third the price of sod and an alternative to sodding.  It can be done on large or small areas where traditional methods wouldn't be feasible or produce desired results.
  
• Hydroseeding is quickly becoming the "go to" product for new lawns and the rejuvenation of old, expired lawns.  In fact, in the US, due to the popularity and success of Hydroseeding, sod farms are now on the decline.
• Hydroseeding creates the perfect environment for the seed to germinate. Once the product is applied, germination starts within 7-10 days.  Not only does the mulch provide an excellent germination platform, but it also retains up to 1700% of it's weight in water.  This means that even in areas where there is sandy soil that would normally provide less than desirable results, Hydroseeding works very well. 
  
• Another benefit to Hydroseeding is Erosion Control.  With the traditional way of broadcasting seed onto the soil, there is a high chance of the seed and fertilizer washing away along with the topsoil whenever it rains. Hydroseeding eliminates washing away of seed, fertilizer, and topsoil. Even on steep slopes, a hydroseeded mulch bonds to the soil and eliminates the erosion and cost of reseeding. With some hydraulic mulches, you can even apply seed to an almost vertical wall.
  
• Cost Effective: Hydroseeding is a quick, cost efficient way to have an innovative lawn that will twist your neighbours jade with greed, and also increase the value of your home. Hydroseeding  is an innovative solution to the old formed methods with arid seeding techniques that include messy straw mulch.
